SUP Yoga

Start your Saturday off right with a restorative and energizing SUP Yoga Class on the Deschutes River in Bend! Join instructor Sarah Laufer for this special class, which combines Stand Up Paddle Boarding with Yoga, on Saturday mornings at 10:30 a.m. in Riverbend Park. Find your flow!

Come to class ready to flow! We’ll meet at Riverbend Park on the Deschutes River, get our gear, and after a short safety talk and introductions, we’ll hit the water with a warm up paddle upstream. After finding a spot to gather and anchor our boards, we’ll tie off the paddles and settle into the sensation of floating and breathing. Over the next hour we will move through the asana on the board, focusing on moving from the core, and finding our balance and sometimes our edge. This practice can be challenging, so many poses are modified versions of what you may practice on land. Our movement will be slow, guided by our breath and intuition.
