How time flies…it was 1978 when Dennis Oliphant and a handful of Bend ski bums started offering rafting trips on the Deschutes River. Now 30 years later Sun Country Raft Tours has matured into the West's finest River Outfitting Company. Big Eddy Season Pass
In honor of our 30th anniversary we decided to try something new. Designed for our business partners but available to anyone, our season pass offers unlimited Big Eddy Thriller Trips for the entire 2008 season. This transferable pass can be used up to two times per day, everyday of the season. The pass can be used by clients, guests, friends, family…anyone. At a reasonable $999, this offer is one you should not pass up!
Sun Country Tours Foundation News
The giving arm of Sun Country Raft Tours is pleased to announce its giving total for 2007 at
$27,000, a combination of cash and in-kind contributions.
New for 2008, our guests will be invited to donate $1.00 per person to the National Forest Foundation (NFF). All proceeds go to river and stream enhancement, wildlife habitat improvement or recreation projects on the Deschutes National Forest (US Forest Service). Your contribution is matched to maximize the benefit to our National Forests. For more information on the National Forest Foundation please visit www.natlforests.org.
32nd Annual Pole Pedal Paddle
The U.S. Bank Pole Pedal Paddle will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2008 and the Kids Mini PPP on Sunday, May 18th.
Teams, pairs, and individual entrants comprised of recreational and expert athletes competing from Mt. Bachelor to Bend in a multi-sport format. Participants alpine ski, cross-country ski, bike, run, canoe/kayak and sprint to the finish. We invite you to take part in the festivities as a participant or spectator and enjoy Central Oregon during this exciting event. Sun Country Tours is pleased to be a sponsor of Pole Pedal Paddle (PPP) which benefits the Mt. Bachelor Sports Education Foundation (MBSEF).
